In just a couple of days, Liberty Station will again be home to the Latin America Art Festival. Held on March 19-20, the festival will feature a variety of works from nearly 100 artists, including over 70 visual artists from Mexico, Central and South America.
In addition, the festival will offer fine foods from Baja California, under the leadership of Chef Javier Plascencia, owner of renowned restaurants in Tijuana and San Diego such as “Bracero Cocina”; as well as Jason McLeod from “Ironside Fish & Oyster”; Karla Navarro from “The Kitchen Project”; Iker Castillo from “Meraki” and Luis Madueño.
Spend the day and enjoy the artwork of artists from all over Latin America, while indulging in tantalizing Baja cuisine prepared by award-winning chefs, and wine and beer from Mexico. Children’s creative play area, makes this festival fun for the whole family.
My family and I attended the event last year and it was a blast. The open space and beautiful San Diego weather made for the perfect outing!
