Barrel Smoker Dinner Series V: The Paella Edition

Baja Wine + Food & Planet Rooth Design Haus present the 5th edition of the Barrel Smoker Dinners Series, a bohemian rendezvous with leading culinary chefs, winemakers, brewers and artists.


Joining hosts Fernando Gaxiola of Baja Wine + Food and Gustav Anders Rooth of Planet Rooth Haus, are two time World Food Champ Ricardo Heredia, Carlos S. Cervantes of Paellas Villa de Cervantes, and chocolatier Ashley Drake of The Chocolate Lush.

The night will kick-off at 6pm with the pre-opening of “Glossed Over” and an Oyster & Raw Bar by Chef Ricardo Heredia. Mingle with like-minded individuals while sipping on Lomita, Villa Montefiori/Paoloni Wines as well as Baja craft beer by Cerveceria Agua Mala. In addition, you’ll be able to talk to the artist, Daphne Hill, who will be in attendance.


Paella Master Carlos S. Cervantes will be on hand making a delectable paella that is sure to leave you in heaven! Both chefs will be using the iQ Oak Barrel Smoker, the revolutionary smoking device designed by Swedish master craftsman & host Gustaf Anders Rooth of Barrelly Made It.

Ashely Drake will be rounding out the evening and your senses with her hand-crafted & Lomita wine infused confections!
